Established in 2004, Coach Matich, set a path to create North America’s premier football and soccer kicking academy based in San Diego, CA. Driven with a purpose to do the right thing, TKS is focused on providing football kicking and private soccer lessons. TKS believes the Southern California is a hotbed of talent and has the opportunity to work with some of the best athletes in the world. By having a disciplined and balanced approach, TKS students reap huge returns as they transition toward their goals. Matich has worked with world-class coaches throughout his career and has a innovative approach to coaching his students.

Coach Matich is a former Minnesota Vikings kicker (NFL) and the second leading scorer in Boston College football history (1995-1999). He also graduated with a degree in English & Communications. Matich went on and completed a masters degree from the University of San Francisco in Sports Management.

Matich is also a former arena league kicker for the San Diego Shockwave kicker (NIFL) and Omaha Beef. In 2007, Matich earned ALL-NIFL Team as Kicker of the Year with the San Diego Shockwave.

Originally from Southern Californian, Coach Matich grew up in San Diego. He also was a former soccer standout that played with the U17 and U20 youth national soccer teams as part of the La Jolla Nomads. Matich kicked at Mira Mesa HS and then received a full scholarship from Boston College in 1995.     

The Kicking System has gained a national reputation from many top college football programs and soccer coaches as arguably the most elite football kicking and soccer development system in the county. 





Travis Golia (La Jolla Country Day School – San Diego) – the top kicking prospect in the class of 2007 in San Diego- Travis worked with coach Matich since he was a sophomore in HS. Matich visited Stanford with Golia and his family to personally meet with the football program’s staff, and helped Travis gain in-depth insight regarding the recruiting process. “Coach Matich is a master-mind with kicking and the recruiting process,” said Golia
