The Associated Press reports Dallas Cowboys PK Nick Folk (hip) underwent hip surgery Tuesday, May 5. He should resume light kicking work in about eight weeks, and the Cowboys hope he can handle full kicking work in 12 weeks.
Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, reports the New England Patriots have released P Tom Malone.
