TKS had a great turnout at this weekend’s kicking combine. The event was held at La Jolla Country Day School and featured kickers from the San Diego, Los Angeles and Irvine areas. Sports Force was also present to film every leg swing of the event. Thanks to them, the prospective kickers will be able to use the visual material for both recruiting and educational purposes. Some highlights included the following:
-Davey Last (Valley Center HS) connected on 12 straight FG’s, including a 52-yarder.
-Tim Callian (Irvine HS) had an impressive day, hitting about 80% of his kicks.
-Alessandro Da Silva (Valley Center) drilled a 50-yarder through the uprights.
We were impressed with the quality of the kickers in today’s combine. We hope to see them improve over the course of the summer.
