February ended with a huge commitment for TKS Kicker, Davey Last.
Davey a kicker from Valley Center HS has been the starting kicker since he was as a freshman! Just look at the stats (Listed below). If he did not hurt his ankle in the semi-final game for CIF this year, he would of gotten a ton of offers. Davey was also a stud football player making all north country defensive back as well.
This past weekend, Davey and I attended the first football scrimmage for the University of San Diego. Davey was excited to tell the coaching staff that he was ready to join the Torrero Family. I thought this a great fit for Davey from a academic and football standpoint. I know Davey will be able to handle the pressure right away and compete for the starting kicking position right away! After a wet and soggy start to the day, Davey ended up signing his official paper work on the back of Special Teams Coach Sam Anno. The picture is priceless! More video and pics are on the way. We are so happy for Davey! Congrats Davey!
