Another stunning day in San Diego’s sunshine, making this the ideal weekend to continue kicking. TKS had a lesson with La Jolla Country Day School’s Duje Lulic. Lulic has been a TKS student for the last three years.
Lulic is a forward for the San Diego Nomads and is a member of their MLS Next team. Lulic also spent a year at Antiguoko (https://www.antiguoko.eus/) in Spain and has returned to play for the Nomads after attending La Jolla Country Day School his freshman year. Antiguoko has produced players such as Mikel Arteta, Xabi Alonso, and Gorka Guruzeta.
Today’s lesson included finishing (kicking) inside the eighteen yard box, with Coach Matich incorporating various angles of receiving and finishing while working on explosive power.
“Duje has tremendous potential, he has developed rapidly over the past year while keeping up his excellent footwork. He has great soccer awareness and we see him going to the next level,” Coach Matich stated.
